Type of the organization / person: R&D

The Laboratory has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Automation of Discrete Processes, Automation and Control Systems, Robotics, Mechatronics and CAD/CAM and CIM. Education at any levels and methodological aspects of Mechatronics and Automation are topics of a lot of national and international projects. We can as well offer consultancy in the fields of Quality control, Application of the European low and Standardization. We now work on Service Contract N 6280-6. The Laboratory facilitates the In-University Contract entitled University Scientific and research Complex (USRC) aimed at innovations and knowledge transfer in the areas of Micro- and Nanotechnologies and Materials, Energy Efficiency and Virtual Engineering, Thematic direction WP 5.1.4: Virtual Engineering and Mechatronics

Three TEMPUS and further two CEEPUS contracts are related to Mechatronics and its scientific service and the work has been going on for the whole year. The Laboratory has been part of two scientific networks funded under the 7th Framework Program; the first called MEMS Structures 4M and the second one - Mechatronics and Automation.

The Laboratory has been a founding member of the National Cluster Mechatronics and Automation, uniting 21 companies and institutes in our country.
